Abstract


The community service program in the form of an internship at PT Bank Mega KC Parepare provides students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the banking industry, particularly in the fields of accounting and financial management. This program aims to enhance students’ understanding of banking operations while developing their technical skills and soft skills required in the professional world. The methods applied in this program include observation, hands-on practice, and mentorship from experienced bank employees. Throughout the internship, students are involved in various operational tasks, such as customer service, transaction document management, financial statement analysis, and interbank transactions. The results of this program indicate that students not only gain deeper insights into the banking industry but also develop communication skills, teamwork abilities, and an understanding of work ethics and compliance with banking regulations. This internship program is expected to serve as an effective learning platform for students while also contributing to the advancement of knowledge in education, particularly in strengthening students’ competencies in the financial and banking sectors.
