Author Guidelines

INSTRUCTION TO AUTHOR(S)

 General Information

  1. Jurnal Peternakan (Jurnal of Animal Science) accepts manuscripts written in English or Indonesia-language. Manuscripts have not been published previously in any scientific journal or submitted for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts are not being submitted to any media during the process of publication in Jurnal Peternakan (Jurnal of Animal Science).
  2. Jurnal Peternakan (Jurnal of Animal Science) uses Similarity Check powered by Turnitin to prevent any plagiarism in the manuscripts.
  3. Manuscripts encompass a broad range of research topics in animal sciences including animal feed and nutrition, feed science and technology, feed additive technology; animal reproduction and physiology, genetics, animal production; animal behavior, welfare, livestock farming system; socio-economic and policy; and animal products science and technology.
  4. Authors should sign the publishing agreement and statement of originality (Form 1) and submit it to email: jurnal.peternakan@um-tapsel.ac.id
  5. Jurnal Peternakan (Jurnal of Animal Science) will be published 2 (two) times a year, in Januari and July.
  6. This journal charges author fees as follows. Fee for Issuing a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) and Article Publication: 300000.00 (IDR). If this manuscript is accepted, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publication costs.

 

Manuscript File

  1. Manuscripts are written in English or Indonesia-language and use standard scientific usage.
  2. References cited must be written according to APA style.
  3. Manuscripts with Indonesia-language should provide English version on the title, abstract, and keywords. Review type of manuscripts should include “review article” in the title.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point Times New Roman font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. Manuscripts could be returned to authors immediately if they don’t follow the guidelines and format.

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:

    1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
