PENDAMPINGAN APLIKASI PUPUK ORGANIK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KESUBURAN TANAH DI DESA MALANGNENGAH KECAMATAN PAGEDANGAN KABUPATEN TANGERANG
Abstract
The organic fertilizer application mentoring activity was carried out to improve the understanding and skills of members of the Srikandi Women's Farmers Group (KWT) in Malangnengah Village, Pagedangan District, Tangerang Regency. This mentoring aims to introduce solid and liquid organic fertilizers as environmentally friendly alternatives that can increase soil fertility and agricultural productivity. The stages of the activity include socialization of the concept of organic fertilizer, demonstrations of its manufacture and application, and discussion and question and answer sessions. Evaluation was carried out to assess the level of understanding before and after the activity through a questionnaire. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in participant understanding, with an average level of understanding increasing from 10% -95% before the activity to 90% -100% after. Participants also showed high enthusiasm for practicing the knowledge gained, both in utilizing organic waste for making fertilizer and in its application on agricultural land. This activity succeeded in having a positive impact in increasing farmer awareness of the importance of sustainable agriculture and optimal organic waste management.
