Abstract


Mekanisme pengendalian moneter pada model perekonomian terbuka berfungsi sebagai sistem kerja keuangan untuk menjaga nilai tukar di pasar internasional agar nilai tukar tidak turun atau stabil. Studi ini melihat indikator-indikator utama di berbagai negara (Singapura, Indonesia, Amerika Serikat, Australia). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data sekunder tahun 2006 hingga 2020 (time series) dan data cross-sectional yang diperoleh dari Bank Dunia. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Metode Panel ARDL. Hasil Panel ARDL menunjukkan bahwa negara-negara yang dapat menjadi indikator utama stabilitas nilai tukar adalah Singapura, Indonesia, Amerika Serikat, dan Australia. Seluruh variabel atau indikator dalam penelitian negara tersebut berpengaruh signifikan terhadap stabilitas nilai tukar. Saran dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk menstabilkan tingkat inflasi di negara (Singapura, Indonesia, Amerika Serikat, Australia) seperti Indonesia, Bank Indonesia dapat melakukan kebijakan seperti menstabilkan nilai tukar, meningkatkan kinerja ekspor, dan membatasi jumlah uang beredar sehingga dapat menekan laju inflasi.
