Abstract


Pengembangan budidaya dan industri kakao sebagai penggerak pertumbuhan dan distribusi pendapatan masih sangat terbuka dan cukup besar. Penerapan teknologi tepat guna dilakukan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas budidaya kakao dan efisiensi penanganan pasca panen bagi petani kakao di desa Asah Duren, Kecamatan Pekutatan, Kabupaten Jembrana.  Kegiatan Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas teknologi yang diterapkan dalam proses tersebut. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, pengamatan langsung, wawancara dengan petani, pelatihan, praktek langsung, dan analisis data hasil panen sebelum dan sesudah penerapan teknologi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam hasil panen kakao serta pengurangan kerugian pasca panen. Petani melaporkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam penggunaan teknologi yang diterapkan. Terdapat peningkatan keterampilan kelompok petani sebesar 70%, peningkatan produktivitas sebesar 85%, peningkatan pendapatan 75%. Aplikasi teknologi tepat guna dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi pengelolaan budidaya kakao, produk hasil olahan kakao menjadi coklat bubuk dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani kakao di Desa Asah Duren.
