Abstract


Pemanfaatan teknologi dalam edukasi bencana Gunung Api saat ini semakin berkembang. Salah satunya adalah Virtual Reality (VR) yang mampu menghadirkan pengalaman menjelajah Gunung Api Seulawah Agam secara realistis dan interaktif. Dengan VR, siswa dapat memahami bahaya, risiko dan mitigasi bencana Gunung Api. Hal ini membuat pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik, efektif, dan mudah diingat dibanding metode konvensional.Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi dan kesiapsiagaan siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Aceh Besar terhadap risiko erupsi Gunung Seulawah Agam. Hasil pengabdian ini melalui workshop interaktif berbasis Virtual Reality, siswa dapat memperoleh pengetahuan teoritis, dan pengalaman dengan alat VR Card dalam menghadapi skenario bencana. Metode ini diharapkan dapat membentuk kesadaran kritis dan responsif terhadap bencana alam di lingkungan mereka.
