PENGARUH ACADEMIC SELF-EFFICACY TERHADAP MENTAL WELL-BEING PADA MAHASISWA YANG BERKULIAH DI WILAYAH DKI JAKARTA

Kesejahteraan psikologis mahasiswa merupakan isu penting dalam pendidikan tinggi, khususnya di wilayah metropolitan dengan tekanan akademik dan sosial yang tinggi. Salah satu faktor psikologis yang diduga berperan dalam mendukung mental well-being mahasiswa adalah academic self-efficacy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh academic self-efficacy terhadap mental well-being pada mahasiswa yang berkuliah di wilayah DKI Jakarta. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Partisipan terdiri dari 707 mahasiswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah The Warwick–Edinburgh Mental Well-Being Scale (WEMWBS) dan Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa academic self-efficacy berpengaruh signidikan terhadap mental well-being (R=0,662; R²=0,439; p<0,001). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa academic self-efficacy berperan penting sebagai faktor protektif dalam menjaga mental well-being mahasiswa di wilayah DKI Jakarta. Implikasi penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya penguatan academic self-efficacy melalui intervensi akademik dan psikologis di lingkungan perguruan tinggi.
