PERAN TRUST IN TECHNOLOGY DALAM MEMEDIASI HUBUNGAN ANTARA PERCEIVED UBIQUITY DAN INTENTION TO USE LAYANAN FOOD HANDLING PADA APLIKASI GIG ECONOMY

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh perceived ubiquity terhadap intention to use aplikasi gig economy pada layanan food handling, dengan trust in technology sebagai variabel mediator. Transformasi digital yang semakin pesat memunculkan kebutuhan untuk memahami faktor-faktor psikologis dan persepsi pengguna dalam mengadopsi aplikasi gig economy, khususnya di sektor layanan makanan. Perceived ubiquity dipahami sebagai persepsi bahwa teknologi dapat diakses kapan saja dan di mana saja, sehingga memberikan kemudahan dan fleksibilitas bagi pengguna. Sementara itu, trust in technology mencerminkan keyakinan pengguna terhadap keandalan, keamanan, dan kemampuan teknologi dalam mendukung aktivitas mereka. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perceived ubiquity berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap intention to use aplikasi gig economy food handling. Selain itu, perceived ubiquity juga terbukti berpengaruh positif terhadap trust in technology. Temuan lain menunjukkan bahwa trust in technology berpengaruh signifikan terhadap intention to use. Lebih lanjut, trust in technology berperan sebagai mediator yang memperkuat pengaruh perceived ubiquity terhadap intention to use. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya persepsi kemudahan akses dan kepercayaan teknologi dalam mendorong niat penggunaan aplikasi gig economy. Rekomendasi yang diberikan meliputi peningkatan fitur real-time, transparansi keamanan data, serta penguatan kualitas layanan digital agar mampu meningkatkan tingkat kepercayaan dan niat penggunaan di kalangan pengguna aplikasi gig economy food handling.
