Abstract


Dalam beberapa dekade terakhir, keamanan maritim menjadi semakin penting bagi negara-negara yang bergantung pada perdagangan dan sumber daya laut, termasuk Indonesia sebagai negara kepulauan terbesar di dunia. Artikel ini membahas diplomasi keamanan maritim Indonesia di kawasan Laut Merah dalam mewujudkan Visi Indonesia Emas 2045. Melalui studi pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini mengkaji sejarah konflik di Laut Merah, dampaknya, dan langkah-langkah diplomasi yang diambil Indonesia untuk menjaga keamanan maritim. Laut Merah merupakan jalur strategis yang menghubungkan Laut Mediterania dengan Samudra Hindia, sehingga penting bagi perdagangan internasional. Konflik di kawasan ini, seperti pemberontakan Houthi di Yaman, perdagangan ilegal, dan penyelundupan senjata, mengancam stabilitas dan keamanan maritim. Indonesia memiliki peluang untuk memanfaatkan organisasi regional dan internasional seperti ASEAN, PBB, dan IMO dalam memperkuat diplomasi keamanan maritim di kawasan ini. Dengan memperkuat kerjasama regional dan internasional, Indonesia dapat memainkan peran yang lebih besar dalam menjaga stabilitas dan keamanan maritim di Laut Merah, yang pada gilirannya mendukung visi Indonesia sebagai poros maritim dunia.
