Abstract


Pertumbuhan jumlah manusia dan pertumbuhan ekonomi mengakibatkan meningkatnya konsumsi energi di Indonesia. Pemakaian energi fosil masih menjadi dominan di Indonesia yang sumbernya tidak berkelanjutan dan menghasilkan banyak emisi sehingga mempercepat pemanasan global. Transisi energi menjadi salah satu kunci untuk mencapai agenda penggunaan energi yang berkelanjutan dan bersih. Transisi energi adalah sebuah agenda transformasi dari penggunaan energi yang tidak berkelanjutan dan banyak menghasilkan emisi ke penggunaan energi yang berkelanjutan dan lebih bersih sehingga dianggap baik untuk lingkungan. Banyak sumber daya energi yang dapat digunakan sebagai bagian dari proses transisi energi, contohnya adalah gas bumi. Gas bumi memiliki peran di berbagai sektor mulai dari sumber energi untuk ketenagalistrikan, bahan bakar gas untuk kendaraan dan bahan bakar untuk kegiatan masak – memasak rumah tangga yang dialirkan melalui jaringan gas kota. Hal ini terus dimasifkan agar tercapainya bauran energi primer sesuai dengan target RUEN dan target Indonesia di tahun 2060 yaitu Net Zero Emission
