Abstract


Literasi keuangan merupakan kompetensi penting yang perlu ditanamkan sejak usia sekolah untuk membentuk perilaku keuangan yang sehat dan bertanggung jawab. Namun, masih banyak siswa yang memiliki pemahaman terbatas mengenai pengelolaan keuangan pribadi dan pentingnya menabung sejak dini. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi keuangan serta membangun budaya menabung sejak dini pada siswa SMA Swasta Kristen BNKP Gunungsitoli. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 15 Juni 2025 dengan menggunakan pendekatan edukatif dan partisipatif melalui sosialisasi, penyuluhan, diskusi interaktif, simulasi pengelolaan uang saku, serta pendampingan penyusunan target tabungan. Peserta kegiatan adalah siswa SMA Swasta Kristen BNKP Gunungsitoli yang mengikuti seluruh rangkaian program secara aktif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa mengenai konsep dasar literasi keuangan, pengelolaan uang saku, penyusunan prioritas kebutuhan, dan manfaat menabung. Selain itu, peserta menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran untuk menyisihkan sebagian uang saku secara rutin sebagai tabungan serta mampu menyusun rencana keuangan sederhana sesuai kebutuhan mereka. Kegiatan ini juga memperkuat kolaborasi antara perguruan tinggi dan sekolah dalam mendukung pendidikan karakter serta pengembangan kompetensi finansial peserta didik. Dengan demikian, program edukasi literasi keuangan berkontribusi dalam membentuk generasi muda yang lebih cakap secara finansial, memiliki perilaku ekonomi yang bijaksana, dan siap menghadapi tantangan ekonomi di masa depan
