AbstractKegiatan pelatihan peningkatan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas XI SMA HKY Weekombaka dilaksanakan atas dasar adanya realitas yang menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa kelas XI masih mengalami kesulitan dalam menyampaikan gagasan secara runtut dan meyakinkan. Siswa kurang percaya diri saat berbicara di depan kelas, terbatas dalam penguasaan kosakata, serta cenderung pasif ketika menyampaikan pendapat. Kondisi ini menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berbicara siswa masih perlu ditingkatkan melalui pembinaan yang terarah dan sistematis. Siswa masih menghadapi kesulitan ketika berbicara di depan umum, dan kesulitan tersebut dapat disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, seperti kurangnya pengalaman, ketidakpercayaan pada kemampuan diri, dan tidak adanya keterampilan komunikasi yang efektif. Tujuan kegiatan adalah meningkatkan keberanian siswa dalam mengemukakan pendapat, memperluas penguasaan kosakata, serta menumbuhkan sikap positif terhadap kegiatan berbicara. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pengabdian ini tidak hanya berkontribusi pada peningkatan kompetensi berbahasa siswa, tetapi juga mendukung pengembangan karakter percaya diri, kritis, dan komunikatif sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan nasional. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian terdiri dari: (1) pemaparan materi; (2) demonstrasi; (3) Latihan terbimbing; (4) simulasi; (5) Diskusi dan refleksi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan anak dalam bericara dan mengungkapkan pendapat di forum. Anak-anak semakin terampil berbicara, berani tampil, dan mampu mengekspresikan ide secara jelas, sehingga pelatihan ini menjadi langkah konkret dalam mendukung pengembangan kompetensi komunikasi siswa sebagai bekal menghadapi tantangan pendidikan dan kehidupan di masa depan
